Our year 2022 in numbers

1 Minute Read

What an eventful year!

For many of us, December can be a pretty stressful month. Everyone has a long to-do list of activities and tasks they want to check off before the year ends. But December is also a great opportunity to reflect on the highlights of the year - accomplishments, but also challenges. So we can be thankful, set new goals, and understand what we want to change for the upcoming year.

We are looking back at an eventful year. retraced has grown, has become more mature and as a result, we wanted to look at the impact we had on our clients and their supply chains.

We want to thank every one of you for being on this journey with us. This year we celebrated our 3rd birthday, closed our 2nd funding round, and won, among 3 other awards, the 1st award specifically for our technology, and the list goes on. Right now, our team consists of people from 20 different nationalities and the retraced platform is being used in more than 80 countries worldwide.

This makes us excited for 2023.

We continue to bring transparency to the production processes so that our partners can mitigate risks and prioritize next steps. However, the global supply chains of the fashion industry are incredibly complex and there is still a lot of work to be done. This slow progress can be frustrating and so it's important to realize that progress is a journey. And that is why we are taking both the challenges and highlights as our fuel and motivation to continue to drive change.

"By growing our global network of brands and suppliers, we are able to scale our impact on fashion supply chains and the people and environment within and around it. At the same time, we help our clients to become more efficient and support them to comply with all supply chain regulations. Our growth is owed to our team of passionate people who give their everything every day to make the change happen."

- Lukas Pünder, CEO & Co-Founder of retraced
