Outland x Retraced Launch New Sustainability Partnership

1 Minute Read

Welcome, Outland Denim! 🙌🏼

Outland Denim crafts premium denim jeans designed to bring the worlds of their seamstresses and customers closer together. As the first Australian denim brand to achieve B Corporation Certification, Outland is committed to environmental integrity, female empowerment, and social sustainability. Outland is working with the retraced's sustainability management platform to ensure smoother management of their ethical supply chains and to enable their customers to virtually travel the product journey of their favorite pair of jeans.

The new retraced transparency plugin is being launched with Outland's best-selling item: The Harriet in black skinny jeans. The Harriet jean in Black is made with 93% organic cotton and innovative 'SaveBlack' denim, which uses 85% less water during the dying process. The staple skinny, that sold out after being worn by HRH The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, in 2018 during her visit to Australia, has been refined to be even more flattering and sustainable. The instant success and demand that followed has enabled the brand to double down on the holistic support they provide at the Cambodian manufacturing plant where the jeans are made. This includes increased employment, training, living wages, and education programs for the garment workers.

Retraced is excited to announce the latest brand to join our movement towards sustainable change in fashion - Outland Denim!
