🍃Seamless Transition and Built-In Scalability

The transition to Oracle ATP 23ai was seamless, with minimal downtime thanks to automated scaling and Oracle's support—if you don't count the snacks our Infrastructure Team seemed to have "misplaced"! ATP 23ai’s resource management automatically adjusts compute power and storage, letting our product team focus on adding value and simplifying the process to just a click, enabling smooth application of changes to the new version.

🤖Select AI: Talking to Our Data

One of the key enhancements in 23ai is Select AI. Select AI could enable us to interact with our database using natural language, potentially translating descriptions into SQL queries. For example, asking, “What is the highest risk scoring facility process in a network?” could generate a query to retrieve the relevant data. This feature could make development across multiple data sets easier, provide insights for our product team, and ultimately empower our customers to access data more easily and potentially make data-driven decisions.

🔍AI Vector Search: Enhancing Smart Search

AI Vector Search is crucial for enhancing how we process and search unstructured data. Our platform holds large volumes of supply chain documentation. AI Vector Search has the potential to embed documents into vector space, possibly enabling semantic searches beyond simple keyword matches. This would allow our internal support team to find and evaluate information with greater precision, even without exact keywords. For example, they could search for “fair labor practices” and find relevant matches, regardless of phrasing.

💪Enhanced JSON Handling: Making Data Work for You

Oracle ATP 23ai's enhanced JSON capabilities, such as JSON Duality Views and JSON Schemas, could help us handle data more efficiently and securely. JSON Duality Views unify relational and document models, while JSON Schemas provide structure validation, ensuring data integrity and consistency. These improvements could help detect anomalies early and potentially prevent compromised data, contributing to secure integration of diverse supply chain data—making our developers' work even more robust.
